The contracting process is a significant element of the procurement and supply function.
Learning Outcomes
On completion Learners will be able to:
- Understand the Sales of Goods Act and Third Party Rights
- Discuss implications of breach and termination rights
- Understand the impact of supply ethics, including Bribery and Modern Slavery Acts
- Explain the commercial officer’s role in scoping and designing specifications, CSFs, and KPIs
- Understand business, user, and system requirements
Target Audience
This course is aimed at procurement officers involved in contract scoping and performance management. On completion, learners will understand basic aspects of contract law and ethics surrounding procurement and supply.
