Why become an End-Point Assessor for ELS?
As a growing End Point Assessment Organisation and Awarding Organisation we are always on the lookout for industry experts to become ELS Independent End-Point Assessors, meaning you can make a difference to the industries you have worked in and are passionate about.
We give you the training, qualifications and equipment to become an ELS End-Point Assessor, as well as providing formal qualifications as part of your induction. All we need is your industry expertise and your passion!
We have many flexible opportunities including employed and associate contracts, meaning that you can even fit End Point Assessment around your current role and commitments. You tell us when you want to assess, and we book your apprentices for you!
What’s it like to be an End-Point Assessor?
Once you have been allocated an apprentice, depending on the standard, you may visit their workplace to conduct End Point Assessment, such as an observation or an interview, or you can conduct a web conference call from your own home (depending the requirements of the End Point Assessment Plan).
During the assessments you’ll be forming judgments on apprentice’s knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs). You will then complete a feedback template and report, ensuring the apprentice receives their feedback and grade within our ELS timelines. You will work closely with the ELS EPA Coordinators to schedule apprentices, conduct the assessments and provide feedback and grades.
You will be required to work with learner management systems, attend training, standardisation and keep your continuous professional development (CPD) up-to-date.
